'Mountain' to premiere at Portobello Film Festival

Mountain will have its world premiere at the Portobello Film Festival in London on 13th September 2018.

The screening comes almost two years to the day that Electric Faces played to a packed audience at the same festival. Portobello Film Festival is highly regarded as ‘the biggest celebration of independent film in Europe’ (The Independent) with free showings of a wide variety across Notting Hill.

Other films showing at Portobello include fellow Glasgow productions Sheltered starring Briony Monroe, directed by Ross Kelly and produced by Screen Academy Scotland and Mia from Gary Hewitt & Diane Brooks. The festival is also hosting a free screening of the world's fourth-highest-grossing film of all time, Avengers: Infinity War.

Mountain follows a trio of U.S. soldiers who fight for survival after being trapped behind enemy lines during World War II.

Wam Siluka Jr, Craig Young and Jam Morrison star in the pic produced and edited by Chris Quick. Electric Faces cinematographer Darren Eggenschwiler shot the film on Black Magic Cinema cameras. Mountain features an original score by Oliver Lodge, make up by Harley Moore and digital effects by Graeme Watt of 8 Acre Films.
