

'Mountain' garners a Hilton Earl Memorial Nomination at Glasgow Short Film Festival 2019
Through winning the December audience award at Blueprint Glasgow, 'Mountain' was nominated for the Hilton Earl Memorial Award at the Glasgow Short Film Festival 2019. It was one of only four films announced to be in contention for the prestigious award. The three other nominated films were; BAFTA Scotland Best Short 2018 nominee 'Slap' from Simone Smith 2016 documentary Still Life: 'Portrait of a Fighter' by Kieran Hennigan Alistair MacLeod adaption 'In The Fall' by Tom Gentl


Canada's Creation International Film Festival will screen 'Mountain'
An international judging panel has added 'Mountain' to the annual Creation Festival Gala in Canada. The event takes place at the Imagine Cinemas on Saint Laurent Boulevard in Ottawa, Ontario on May 31st. Mountain follows a trio of U.S. soldiers who fight for survival after being trapped behind enemy lines during World War II. The Festival of Time: Des Histoires has bestowed Mountain with the 'Best War Film' award at its first year in Canada over New Year. The film was nominated in five categories, also being recognised for editing, cinematography, fight sequence and special effects. 'Mountain' to premiere at Portobello Film Festival
Mountain will have its world premiere at the Portobello Film Festival in London on 13th September 2018. The screening comes almost two years to the day that Electric Faces played to a packed audience at the same festival. Portobello Film Festival is highly regarded as ‘the biggest celebration of independent film in Europe’ (The Independent) with free showings of a wide variety across Notting Hill.
